Animal Behaviour and Movement

Wildlife behavior and movement are important to understand as they drive how animals relate to one another and their environment. Behavior and movement can be influenced by weather and greater climatic changes, human development and the presence of livestock, wildfires, prey abundance, and more. Mpala studies these key mechanisms across diverse wild and domestic species, including giraffes, camels, Vulturine Guineafowl and hippos.
