Fardosa Hassan is a trained teacher and her focus is on community development and education. At Mpala, she has worked in different roles including operations, permitting, logistics, and guest relations. She currently works at Mpala as the Community Outreach Officer where she acts as the link between Mpala and the neighboring communities. She manages and oversees Mpala’s Community projects and outreach. Through her time at Mpala, she has received two awards; Exemplary Service Award for the Administration Department of the year 2018 and Best Employee of the Year 2019 . She is passionate about girls’ and women’s empowerment and has successfully established an organization that supports women and girls in her community. She enjoys spending time doing community projects and engaging women.
